My name is Kim and I'm very proud and honored to be the president of Dan's fan club. I first came to the rescue on a sunday which was my birthday. From that day on I knew I found a place I wanted to be a part of. I started to volunteer 1 year ago and have enjoyed getting to know the other volunteers as well as all the incredible animals who call this wonderful place home. Each time I'm there I learn something new. My favorite time is when I'm able to walk the horses out in the morning after they have had their breakfast. To see them eager to be in the pasture, at times it takes my breath away.

Walking with Dan is very special to me because he likes to walk slow. That's fine with me as I talk to him and tell him how handsome he is. I'm sure he know it but doesn't let it go to his head.
